Getting on with it

It was a challenge but I managed to eat, sleep and poop wearing this thing.

There was a lot of medication for the first week and I got very smart at chewing up and spitting out the funny tasting pills.

Mostly I've been sleeping in my private suite that Dad built in the garden.

I can't wait to lose this clown costume.

Ouch!

Well friends, I haven't been out much lately cos I hurt my stifle (knee) and it made me walk funny.

After lots of visits to the vet and an "eggstray" they said I had torn my cruciate ligament and needed surgery.

I had to spend 2 days in hospital and then Mum and Dad picked me up. I was so glad to see them that I howled and shrieked to let them know what had happened. They could see for themselves thanks to my big red bandage and lampshade collar.

I'm feeling a bit sore and grumpy but will write more soon.

Road Trip

Mum and I visited Sam on the South Coast.  They have the best beaches.

We guarded the towels while our mums braved the waves

and Sam introduced me to his favourite smells

After a day in the sun, there's nothing better than snuggling up for the evening. Sam is the perfect host.

It was worth the drive even though the winding roads made me a bit sick. I puked into Mum's handbag (she shouldn't have left it next to my bed) but at least she didn't need to wash the seat.

Mum didn't want any dramas on the way home so she took the scenic route with frequent stops in towns with cute names like Kangaroo Valley.

That's the silkiest sand I ever set paw on.

What a pity Charlie and Miss T had to stay home with Dad...
