Howloween
Mum transformed into a vampire for the night and we became her accessories. Always thought she was batty.

El loco
Mum got this hoodie from The Sophisticated Pet for our winter trip to Canberra.
It kept me as warm as toast in the sun outside a cafe!

Australian Capital Territory
This is our first visit to Canberra. So many things to discover...
Grand parliament buildings
Enchanting wildlife
Icy waters
We stopped at the Big Merino on our way home. As motorway services go, it's a bit different.
That was adventure with a capital 'A'!

Camels on the beach
We saw strange and wonderful sights on our camping trip to Stockton Dunes.
Not one for braving
the cold, Mum insisted on having a powered site so she could use a heater and
kettle. Camping in the winter has its perks as we all slept in the same tent, although we dogs were required to stay in our own beds (most of the time).
Guess who sneaked into big brother's sleeping bag? I gather I’m “too
hairy” to be allowed inside a human sleeping bag. Pffft!

Seeing double
We met this handsome chihuahua and his name happened to be Charlie.
He looks a lot like me, doesn't he?

Tumble dry
We have to endure the shower but then we get to dry off in the garden and restore our natural dogliness.
Adding the finishing touches.
Thankfully Mum picked a warm day for it!
Bye for now

To the lighthouse and back
At last I can tell you about our trip to the Central Coast.
We were lucky to have the beach to ourselves and just look at the waves!
I tried to follow Dad into the surf but it was a bit daunting. I’m not bad on the boogie board though (more on that another time).
Checking out the surf |
Sinking in the sand |
After scrambling over sand dunes and chasing waves, we didn't mind a bit of time chilling back at base. The campsite said it welcomes dogs but they weren't all that welcoming because they insisted we had to be on a leash. At least they didn’t specify the length of the rope. We were too pooped to run around in any case.
What's this leash nonsense? |
When we packed up to leave we found this little rat hiding underneath the tent. He ran towards Mum and then tried to stow away in the car! He might be someone’s pet who got lost. Mum set him free in the bushes to find a new home.
It’s too cold for camping now (according to Mum) so we’re mooching around at home and waiting for spring.
Remind me to tell you about my surfing lesson next time…
Charlie
